Terms & Conditions

Please take the time to read through.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our services.

2. Description of Services

Our services include the provision of mentoring for individuals aged two years and older in the use of practical knowledge to include, but not limited to; the use of various tools, materials, techniques and application of skills to a wide range of areas commonly found within the construction industry.

3. Bookings, Cancellations and Refunds

All sessions need to be prebooked before the day to ensure there is adequate equipment and materials available to cater for all attendees.

Bookings are done on a termly basis with the exception of the Tiny Tools (2-4 years) sessions and SEN sessions which can be booked as individual sessions or in termly blocks. If a space is available part way through a term a pro-rata fee will be charged dependant on the number of sessions left that term.

Once booked you are reserved a space in the class and therefore it is non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances where The Orange Toolbox are unable to run the session if there is space available you can attend a different session the same week or credit will be given to be used when booking future sessions.

In the event that a person behaves in a manner that is deemed so unsafe they are not permitted to return no refunds will be given for any pre-booked sessions.

The Orange Toolbox reserves the right to review and change class timetables, the booking process, and prices on a termly basis. If any changes are made to session dates/times after booking the customer is entitled to move to a different session or ask for a refund.

Upon payment customers are declaring they understand and agree to these conditions.

4. Supervision

All children under the age of 8 years must be directly supervised by an adult over the age of 18 at all times while accessing our services, with a maximum ratio of 1 adult to 2 children.

Children between the ages of 8 years and 11 years who are deemed competent may be left without direct supervision but only with permission from The Orange Toolbox staff. We reserve the right to retract this permission at any time in which case the child will need only be permitted to attend if supervised by an adult over the age of 18 years.

Children over the age of 11 years may attend without direct parental/guardian supervision if deemed competent however any concerns regarding behaviour or potential breaches to health and safety rules may lead to the young person being prohibited from returning unless permission is granted for them to return under supervision by a responsible adult over the age of 18 years.
